I've made it my mission to help perimenopausal women build a fasting lifestyle in harmony with their hormones.

After the benefits and result I have seen in myself, I feel that it is my duty of care to pass the knowledge on to as many women as I possible can,think fasting Mexican wave! 😆

I've been where you are. In 2021 I hit perimenopause without even realising it. We were still deep in the covid years, my bricks and mortar business had been opened and closed three times, there were financial pressures and I was running on empty.

I put everything I was feeling down to lockdown. The depression, the zero motivation, the self sabotage with food, the chocolate cookies I was munching through like they were about to be discontinued. It wasn't until much later that I joined the dots and realised this was perimenopause.

I tried holistic therapies. I knocked on my GP's door repeatedly asking about HRT. I knew something was missing but couldn't put my finger on what.

Then in April 2024, on holiday in my happy place of Northumberland, I devoured the Fast Like A Girl book and the lightbulb moments came thick and fast. That same week Dr Mindy Pelz happened to be running free online webinars. I consumed every single one.

Becoming a certified Fast Like A Girl coach wasn't on my radar. But here I am and fasting in harmony with my hormones has genuinely transformed how I feel, how I move through the world and how I show up every single day.

I'm not the finished article. I don't pretend to be. But I've built something that works and now I help other women build it too. through menopause is celebrated as the incredible transformation it truly is.

I decided to treat myself as one of my own clients. I'd spent years working closely with the body and cellular health, always taking a 360 approach to wellbeing with the women I worked with, so it was time to apply that same thinking to myself.

I wanted something that was flexible. Something that wouldn't pile more on to an already packed schedule, wouldn't leave me feeling confused or overwhelmed and absolutely would not have me counting calories.

That's when the Fast Like A Girl programme landed in my lap. I devoured everything I could get my hands on and started experimenting with fasting alongside my hormones. And honestly? It felt like the heavy weight of perimenopause began to lift. My mood started to shift. My energy started to return. The stubborn belly fat began to move. It was like a new lease of life.

That experience is exactly what shaped the way I work with women today. Everything I teach comes from lived experience, not a textbook.
