Our Interschool Carnivals are open to swimmers in 400 Gold level, Team Bronze, Silver, and Gold (our squad members).

What Happens at an Interschool Carnival?

Swimmers will experience the thrill of a competitive swimming environment including:

  • Professional race starts, with a choice of on or off the blocks

  • Competition in a 50m Olympic-size pool in front of cheering spectators

  • A high-energy team atmosphere with team colours and chants

  • Racing against other swimmers of the same age and gender

  • A post-event medal and trophy ceremony to celebrate achievements

Get Prepared For Carnival With Race Starts

Swimmers will learn how to set up on the blocks, hit a strong “take your mark,” drive forward with purpose, enter in a tight streamline, and explode into a fast breakout. With two levels available, everyone gets the right challenge, plenty of reps, and coaching that turns good starts into great ones.

Western Australia Carnival

To register for the Western Australia November 2025 Interschool Carnival, please complete the registration form below and review the requirements listed.

  • Swimmers must be currently enrolled in 400 Gold, Team Silver, Team Bronze or Team Gold to be eligible for the Interschool Carnival.

  • The entry fee is $20 per swimmer. This will be deducted from your State Swim account.

  • Please note that there is an entrance fee at Perth HPC for all swimmers of $4.90 and spectators of $2.60, which is paid on entry.

  • To participate, you’ll need to wear a swim cap featuring your school’s mascot. Caps are $10 and can be purchased at the front desk.

  • There is a maximum capacity of 60 swimmers per school. Registration will be based on a first-come basis.

To register for the Victoria November 2025 Interschool Carnival, please complete the registration form below and review the requirements listed.
