Contractor Agreement

  1. Arrival Times:

If you are going to be early or later, you must call both the Company and the customer.

  1. Company Shirt:

Must always wear the company shirt while on our jobs.

  1. Street Sign:

Must have the street sign in front of the customer's house during the work.

  1. No Parking in Driveways:

Always preserve the customer's driveway by avoiding parking on it, safeguarding against oil stains and other damages.

  1. Show Materials:

Show customer materials when you arrive.

  1. Job Confirmation:

Must walk the job with the customer to confirm the rooms match the work order. If not, contact the installation manager before proceeding.

  1. Moisture Readings:

Must take moisture readings and provide 3 photos for every 1000 sq. ft of flooring laid. Photos must be sent to the installation manager and verified to be within industry standards. This is the responsibility of the installer/subcontractor.

  1. Collect COD:

Must collect COD prior to starting the job. Certified checks or credit cards only.

  1. Certified Check Deposit:

If you collect a certified check, deposit it into the bank on the same day.

  1. Job Measurement:

Must measure the job upon arrival and notify installations of any shortages or additional materials needed.

  1. Felt Pads:

Must install felt pads on all essential furniture.

  1. Clean Site Daily:

No garbage or old materials left on the customer's property daily. Must clean the site every day.

  1. No Fridge Access:

Do not open the customers' fridge for any reason.

  1. No Swearing:

Must not swear in the customer’s home.

  1. Professional Conduct:

Must not fight, argue, or display anger in the customer's home. Take conflicts outside.

  1. Bathroom Use:

Only use appropriate bathrooms. Must clean up after yourself, including toilets if necessary.

  1. Communication:

Inform the customer if leaving for any reason and provide an estimated return time.

  1. No Smoking:

No smoking in or around the house. Dispose of cigarette butts properly.

  1. Cleanup Requirement:

Must vacuum carpet jobs or use a hard surface cleaning kit on hard surface jobs before leaving.

  1. Tile Removal:

Must put up plastic on everything when doing tile removal.

  1. Proper Disposal:

Cannot dump grout or thin-set buckets on the customer's property. Dispose of properly.

  1. Extra Work Approval:

Any extra work must go through the installation department.

  1. Provide Cleaning Kits:

Must take and provide customers with new cleaning kits on all jobs.

  1. Job Completion Pictures:

Must take and upload or send job completion pictures to the installation team.

  1. BOL Submission:

Turn in ALL BOL’S for all material pickups when the job is done.

  1. Signed Work Order:

Must turn in a signed work order the same day the job is done.

  1. Contractor Agreement:

I agree to honor these rules and operate by these commitments, terms, and conditions. Failure to do so may result in loss of potential bonuses or termination.
