Half Hog Deposit

Our forest-raised pork is raised in the woods where they are rotated every month or so, to turn over soil & root for the good stuff.  We supplement with a specialized local feed for optimal fat:muscle ratio.  Forest raised is better for the hogs as it keeps parasites down, and invites less disease which means no need for antibiotics or vaccinations.  Not only is forest raised pork better for health, it is better for the soil and allows us to wisely continue to use the land in a regenerative manner which is more sustainable.

Forest raised pork is higher in omega-3’s, protein, Vitamin D and Vitamin E.

$6.25/lb of hanging weight.

We anticipate our hogs reaching a hanging weight of around 220-240 lb, which would yield 110-120 lb for half a hog. Half a hog yields approximately 75 lb of the freshest and healthiest pork available.

*Our butcher does not cure bacon but if this is a must we are happy to share available add-on options.

*No space? No problem! Ask us about our storage and subscription options, offering you the wholesale price but storing it on our facility.

Once deposit has been placed, customers will receive a cut sheet to fill out which includes pork chops, roasts, bellies, loins, ribs, hams, ground, sausage, and the option to include fat, bones & organs.

Half Hog deposit will be applied to the final balance.

All meat comes vacuum sealed & labeled from a LOCAL USDA facility.
